Team CJ2 Finishes 2nd Overall at Gantech Partners in Technology Charity Golf Tourney

(Columbia, MD) / October 25, 2010

With a ten under par score of 62, Team CJ2 finished in second place at the Gantech Partners in Technology Charity Golf Tournament held on October 21st at the beautiful Golf Club at South River just outside of Annapolis, Maryland.  CJ2 Consulting, Inc. participated as a hole sponsor in the tournament which has become an annual event for leading information technology companies.

Accompanied by their guests and other technology firms from the greater Baltimore / Washington, D.C. area, CJ2 was delighted to be invited by the lead sponsor, Gantech, to participate in this year’s tournament.  Under fair skies, mild temperatures, and a tricky wind, the Captain’s Choice golf event at South River required pinpoint accuracy off the tee on the narrow, tree-lined fairways.

CJ2’s team was lead by one of its senior advisors, Rick Harvey, who consistently rallied the team with his precision off the tee and his masterful approach shots.  The CJ2 team started strong and managed the course well, shooting a 62 to finish three strokes behind the tournament winners who posted an impressive 59.

Joining CJ2 as hole sponsors in the Gantech “Partners in Technology” tournament were other industry leaders including Cisco Systems, Northrop Grumman IT, ACS, Dell, and Booz Allen Hamilton.
