State of Maryland Accepts CJ2 in Small Business Reserve Program

CJ2 Consulting, Inc. has been accepted into the State of Maryland Small Business Reserve (SBR) Program as announced today by CJ2 Partner and CEO, Craig Halsey. Administered through the Department of General Services’ Office of Procurement and Contracting, the Reserve Program was established to further state commitment to the growth and success of small businesses.
The SBR was established in October of 2004 and uses a self-certification process to recognize small business enterprises. Currently, twenty-two state agencies throughout the state participate in the SBR by structuring processes to reserve ten percent of their procurement dollars for spending with qualified small businesses.
